Has anyone else's child been prescribed this? Told it will be helpful for OCD, sleep and behavioural difficulties. We were previously using anti-depressants but having terrible trouble with side effects.
Thanks.

We have used Seroquel for OCD and other than causing sleepiness, it works. I give one at bedtime and one in daytime if needed. Very low dose...however when the fractured hip heals and he feels better, dose may need to be uped. Good luck

Thanks Sarah,
A few quick questions if you don't mind....
How old is your son?
What is the dose you have been given?
What sort of doctor prescribed it?
Does it help with OCD?
Thanks heaps,
Sylvia.

Sylvia, I am so sorry that I misled you because I did not read your post correctly concerning the age.

We use it for my husband who is 76 with MSA. We believe his OCD was caused by his personality (he was an Engineer) and made worse by Requip. When we discontinued Requip, Amantadine, he became more managable, but the OCD behavior can really tip back in a hurry.

Good luck with your search. Adelle
